I wasn't even going to get my little Fergus, but when I went to the breeder and we talked about what kind of furkid I was looking for (tiny, good natured, male, calm) she brought out (one by one) a few different ones for me to talk to/meet.
Fergus hopped halfway across the kitchen floor, where I was sitting and started chewing my shoelace. When I picked him up, he licked and licked me. When we brought out another pup, he was fun and played....
I just KNEW he was the one. The first 3 and I didn't click, he was my boy. I wrote the check and picked him up a few weeks later...and now that I have had him a month, I can't remember life without him.
Let them come to you. Be patient. But you will know....someone will catch your attention, and you will know.
