I have a 2yr old male yorkie that pees or marks as I am not sure, its not alot of pee but enough for him I guess. He is peeing on my sofa, now and again...I keep the sofa covered as I know he will do this, and we both work, so we are not there to catch him in the act.

I took him to the vet and he checked out fine, the Vet suggest that he might have behavior problem because my husband and I are all that live in the house with our Murphy and lving in the country he does not see many people or other dogs, so he is very attacted to us. He has no interaction with other animals or people for that fact...only us and maybe an occasional rabbit or two.

We are thinking of getting another furbaby, but I wonder if Murphy will teach the new pup to potty anywhere it likes...he is Pee-Pad trained but does have accidents on my carpet ...

Any suggestions on what I can do to help him maybe not be so lonely while we are at work...or what can be done about the peeing problem.

Has anyone else ever had this problem, I would love to know how you deal with it.
