My dad had a rug under his dining room table and his maltese would go in the same spot! he finally removed the rug and there was a dark brown stain on his hard wood floor! To this day it is still there
. Also on the landing of his stairs she would go there too. I guess it got so bad he had to re-carpet his stairway! Now he has a gate blocking her for the stairs and NO rug under the table!
Isnt it funny how WE have to adapt to our pets! I have the same rug issue as mentioned before. The rug at my front door, when I go to shake it out the whole bottom is polka-dotted
! What the heck!!!! I am lucky that my house has all hard wood floors! But I would LOVE to be able to add rugs! It is so much more cozy!!
