In general, I've found PETCO stores more dirty (I've been in 1 or 2 that are REALLY disgusting) than Petsmart. But I'll occasionally go there for the food since both the dogs and cat eat Natural Balance.
I've also found PETCO to be more expensive than Petsmart.
