i have a 4 month old yorkie what i do i put newspaper in a hall way i have and i always leave that has some of his urine and he does it there all the time i have not taking him out side yet because he does not have all his vacinnes i will take stating in may when the weather gets better ok hope this works for you always leave some of his wet papwers and he would smell them and always will do the poop there ok good luck
