Sending prayers your way!
This actually happened to Remy the first day we had him!! His nails caught in a carpet and he twisted his rear leg. He ultimately only had a strain and was on medication for 10 days and was as good as new afterwards. I can tell you it was absolutely heartbreaking, especially because he was so new!
In hind sight it was a good experience because we had his legs, hips, spine all xrayed and looked at by two different vets. One benefit of the experience - we know definitively that he has no issues with his joints, hips and does not have LP - so we have that peace of mind on a go-forward basis.
