I have 3 Yorkies so when I put tape on Lucy's ears at about 12 wks, the others thought it was something to play with

and tore it off. I didn't do that anymore, she is now 6 months old, and they stand up perfectly. I say just give it more time, she was around 4 or 5 months before they finally stood on their own.
