Has anyone used the Kennels at DISNEY? WE are going to Florida in December and are planning a few days at Disney. Here is the info they sent me. But has any yorkietalker actually experienced the kennels there?
Dear Kate,
Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.
With the exception of certified service animals, pets are not permitted
in Disney owned and operated Resorts.
Walt Disney World pet kennels are available at the Magic Kingdom Ticket
and Transportation Center, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The kennels are open from one hour
prior to park opening to one hour after park closing and offer overnight
boarding.
Kennel Sizes:
Small pet kennel ----- 25.5" x 20" x 23.3"
Medium pet kennel ---- 34" x 34" x 34"
Large pet kennel ----- 55" x 45" x 36"
Outside kennels (available on request)-- large kennels, sizes vary
slightly
Service:
Boarding of guest's pets.
Feeding is available, but guests are advised to walk and exercise their
own pets.
No veterinary services are offered. Guests will be referred to an
Orlando animal clinic if problems arise.
Price: Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme

$10 per pet per day
$15 per pet overnight (for DAY guests at ALL kennels)
$13 per pet overnight (for RESORT guests at ALL kennels)
All guests are required to walk their dog at least once in the morning
and once in the evening (twice a day). Dogs less than 1 year of age
(puppies) are required to be walked 3 times a day.

Dogs $15 Cats & small animals $10 per pet per day
Dogs $20 Cats & small animals $15 per pet OVERNIGHT (for
DAY guests)
Dogs $18 Cats & small animals $13 per pet OVERNIGHT (for

Requirements:
Walt Disney World is a member of the "American Boarding Kennel
Association"
Dogs must have proof of the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- D.H.P.(Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza)
- Parvovirus
- Bordetella
Cats must have proof of the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Panleukopenia
- Rhinotracheitis
- Calcivirus
All dogs and cats have to be a minimum of 8 weeks old to be kenneled.
No native wildlife or exotic species are allowed in kennels.
