Suzi barks only to alert us us when she hears noises from outside "danger" Sometimes , it is very early in the morning. However she is doing her job! She comes running back to me! as if to say, are we safe now? Trying to protect the family! She loves people, and I apreciate her efforts keeping us all safe. THere was an incident where police were in front of our apartment building with their light on one night. Suzi saw them through the window and went nuts. I had no idea, until she reacted. Again, protecting us. Yes, she was barking at the cops, but, they had a bad guy too.
She is not a barker unless she senses there is a reason to be.
