I am from Liverpool, UK. We (husband and I) adopted a rescue Yorkie on the 1st April. She has the sweetest nature and is a lovely little thing. She has kennel cough and has had antibiotics so we're just waiting for it to run its course.
She was very matted and smelly when we got her and she wouldn't let us bathe her properly so one of the first things we did was get her professionally groomed!
The vet/rescue place think she's about 4-5 years old but other than that we have no idea of her history as she was a stray.
We've never had a dog before, let alone a Yorkie, so it's all very new to all of us.
