You mention the wooden bristle brushes but gave a link for the pin brushes. Which one do you mean that is a dream? I have heard good things about the CC brushes too. I have the Madan now and really like it. My boar bristle brush is from a beauty supply place in town. I picked it up when I bought my little Peanut trimmer. I think it was less than $10 but it does a nice job of bringing the shine out.
