I have read that they tend to bark alot but I really think that it varies from dog to dog. My Missy hardly ever barks. When she does bark, it's just once or twice and then she will stop without me telling her to. We have a busy home with 3 children, 2 dogs and 2 adults. She's just a quiet one I guess. I'm lucky
