It's not as frequent as that video though and he doesn't start hacking when I touch his throat either..it just happens randomly..sometimes he'll be playing/running and it'll happen for like 10 seconds or so..its like *hack* -2 second pause - *hack*, etc. lol
How would he have gotten kennel cough though!? He hasn't been exposed to ANY other dogs...the only place i've been to with dogs is the vet and he never got near any of them. How is kennel cough treated?? How much is the medication and do i get it from the vet or from a pet store? I want to make sure he is okay!! |
I had a dog that did that very thing, especially after running around, and it was allergies. She had that off and on her entire life and it never really bothered her....or stopped her from playing!
