Chester has had anal glands issues before every so often I need to get them squezzed at the vet office, they do the internal glands not the external that the groomers do. I have to have chester on a food that has higher fiber in it, if they have higher fiber they have bigger poo and it emptys out their glands, which most dogs do on their own. Chester eats solid gold which is 4% fiber and other thigs like veggies can help with the fiber issue as well good luck
