I had a similar scary situation with Daisy about 3 weeks ago. She got two shots, and didnt take to well to them. We left the office and she was fine, but about half an hour later we could not touch either side of her bum/legs where the shots were administered. She couldnt sit or lie down. She was very uncomfortable. About an hour later the real scare came, she seems loopy and high...wouldnt move and had a glazed look. She scared me into giving her solid gold treats that she loves but cause soft stool (so I avoid). It was only till she slept for 45 minutes did she start to come around. The vet told us to "give her some time"...of course i was furious...I've heard the stories! How much time do you give a 4lb-er! Her last shots are next week...I purposely took off the whole day to watch her closely. I'm going to ask about benadryl...the thing with doctors is, if you dont ask...some wont tell...
