I am not inclined to agree. Especially when breeding a Yorkie. Which I am never going to do. However, what a good breeder knows is to breed a smaller male yorkie to a larger female yorkie .
I agree that is has to do with genetics! yorkies come in all different sizes, and are pure bred... We have many YT owners who have beautiful teapots, and some that are tinines that are just as healthy as the rest!
