I am certainly not an authority but a few years ago before we lost our male schnauzer we had a problem too. I had a doxie that was about 12yrs. old and Max was about 2 maybe 3. It is a dominace thing I believe. Muffin would never submit to Max and one morning over food he lifted him completey off the floor and shook him until I though he as dead. I rushed him to the vet and he had to have stitches and his little front leg in a cast. It still didn't stop. You have no problems when the others submit but if they don't even a male will jump on a female. We have had that happen too. Just don't ever leave them alone without supervision. Seperate them when you are gone and when they eat or anything that might cause a flair up. Good luck, hope this helps. Like I said I don't know but I believe thats the problem.
