The potential for a reaction to ANY product is always possible...but you have to take into consideration how many animals it affects. Not negligating how the pet owner whose animal has a reaction...of course, that's devastating, but do the majority of animals suffer from reactions? Hartz products routinely cause reactions....
Another suggestion...don't apply the full dosage on your pet. I apply 1/2 the dose to mine...they don't weigh any where close to the 22 pound limit and the product still works fine. |
This is what I have been doing for a few years now, (since we got our 4 pound poodle) I only use half the dose and it works just fine. I can not , not use anything.. the fleas and ticks in my area are just to bad. I have *heard* that garlic works as well as using dawn dishsoap but from my own experience.. niether did anything for us. The dawn dishsoap made my dogs ill and the garlic didnt do anything but give them nasty breathe. So untill I can find something out there that works better than frontline, I will continue to use it.. with caution.
