Patti, thanks for posting this. I did my orientation months and MONTHS ago for our local AZ Humane Ass'n -- and I cannot bring myself to actually sign up for the volunteering
. It is a kill shelter, so that makes it tough. I know I could so much good there - walking the dogs, giving some love and TLC...but argh...I feel like my heart will just break and I don't know if I can honestly handle it.
