She had several health problems growing up, but managed to keep her fierce independence and fun loving nature. I had her for 17 years and was crushed when it was time for her to pass on.

It has been 4 years and I'm actually in a place in my life that I can take in a new furry friend (work isn't taking up all my time and I feel like I'm ready for a new buddy). But where to start?

I've found another site called Breeders.net and found some potential breeders listed that is close to my area.

Does anyone have any feedback on this site [breeders.net] or any recommendations for a Breeder in NH (or northern MA)?

There is a listing for a woman in Hudson, NH and I read a different post on this site for a breeder in Billerica, MA. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
I live in Hudson, I could go check it out for you if you needed me to. I got my boys from a woman in Hillsboro NH, although she was nice and my boys are healthy, there were a couple things that I know now that would make me think twice about recommending her. At worst she is a BYB (back yard breeder), however she has been breeding YTs for 25 years. Both my boys were 'healthy' by her vets standards when I got them, but when I brought them to my vet one had a significant heart murmur. It eventually closed and he is healthy, but I think her vet would have found it and mentioned it. My vet was pretty concerned and kept him closely monitored and even went as far as to prepare me for treatment option should it not close.
