I think I get what you're saying QuickSilver.
The original GUGE had a bit of a "gifty" feel because when the person opened the box, they don't know what to expect from inside the box. It would be a random surprise. I liked that part of the GUGE concept.
While I understand that one-on-one trading would make things a lot simpler and a lot less work for the Admins, it seems more like an auction. It'll be all about bidding on an item like eBay.
I'm not putting this idea down, I just agree that it's different from the original concept. I like the token thing better than setting anything with monetary value. Either way, I hope it works out for the best.
