You're not raining on anyone's parade at all... admin said this thread was for discussion and that's what it happening.

After post #21 people were talking more of the one on one trades and that doesn't have to be an equal value trade off. Say for example Twalla has a jacket you would like for your Yorkie and she opens it up to any offers accepted. You could offer a smoochie lips toy which is of nowhere near equal value but the chances are she's going to accept it because Sam really loves that toy and his broke. One on one trading would allow the OP poster to read over all offers and then pick which one they would like to trade or not make a trade if there was nothing they liked.

I understand what you're saying about the GE and I agree, but the spirit of that was to get to know other members better and make new friends. I know the box idea would allow for that to happen too but I still don't see how the box is more of a gift that a trade when like I said earlier you are still trading your items for ones in the box.
