Years ago on another forum....we traded items all the time. Sometimes what someone wanted wasn't even specified...it was simply open to offers.
Since it sounds like admin plans for this to be a seperate forum....any individual could easily have a thread of their own...listing what they have and what they'd like to receive in trade.
