I now have a piece of cardboard, with a layer of newspaper on top and then her pad on top of that. Meka is little miss diva as well... and if she's peed a few times on her pad, she'd rather pee/poop on the floor next to it than on it. I change the padding daily and still have problems with her pee/pooping next to the pad
