The BTCA changed the name to Biewer Terrier in 2006. Mr. Biewer registered his dogs as Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la Pom Pons with ACH. Mr Biewer was still working on the standard and not perfected it before he died.
When Mr. Biewer died, everything was left to Gertrud Biewer and her discretion on what should be done with the breed. Mrs. Biewer has joined the BTCA because she believes they will continue the dream that her husband had for the breed |
