I am posting here in hopes of getting more responses. My 3 year old Mia had a bile acid test last Thursday. I did it to see if she tested high to either confirm my concerns or to see if her symtoms were something else.

The vet thought that she could have some sort of brain injury on the right side because of her circling always to the left and the right eye is slow to focus or close and open upon dialation. And said the only way to find out about that was to do a CT scan or MRI.

Her bile acid test came back pre test 4 and post test 116.6. She said we can re test to confirm the results and is suggesting treating with anti-biotics and diet change to see if that helps her. I have also asked her to look into doing the Protein C test to see if it can be MVD or a shunt.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I just had a feeling that this could possibly be part of her problem, but I had 3 vets tell me no because of a normal blood panal last Oct.
