I would teach her the "drop it", command. Sit on the floor with her. Let her pick up a toy. Put a treat by her nose and say, "drop it". When she does give her a treat. Repeat this exercise a couple of times a day. Soon she will know "Drop it"!
Pretty soon you can say drop it and she will.
