First get them warm. Never feed a coldd puppy. Do you have a heating pad ? Turn it on low under the box where the puppies are and put puppies and mama on it. You will have to leave them on it for a few days. Do not put them directly on it. Put in under the box and kind of off to one side so if mama gets to hot, she can move away a little. Why do you have to tubee feed them? have they got a suck reflex? mama having a c-section should have nothing to do with her feeding them. She is still able to feed them. if she has no milk then you will have to feed them but be very careful trying to tube feed. i hope they showed you how to do it and how much at a time. You can cause them to have aspiration pneumonia by getting it into their lungss? Each time before you feed, put them on mam's teats to see if they try to nurse. They might be so weak, you will have to gently hold them to the teat and help them latch on. feel free to pm me if you need more help. |
