we use freeze dried salmon treats. We used to use Chicken strips until we found out one of my girls is allergic to chicken. But you have to be very careful with where you get the chicken strips though since most of them are made in China. You have to really read the fine prints. I only recommand one brand that is Kona Chips. the lady is a member here on YT also. Her chicken strips are Made by here in the US!
