 1 month old with CHF
I have been reading on the forums about "Puppies" with enlarged hearts and fluid in the lungs. The "puppies turn out to be 10 to 15 year old "puppies" I would like to know if anyone has any experience with new born pups with CHF. I know an owner that has this 1 month old pup with an enlarged heart and fluid in its lungs. The vet put him on Lasix to help kidneys to remove the extra fluid, and is doing well. But i want to know if anyone has gone through this or knows anyone who has. With the Puppy being so young is there a chance the he can out grow this. the owner can not aford the medical cost and I have been footing the bill. How can I not help. I could not look him in the eyes and say nothing. I just want to know if anyone can give me an idea of what kind of fight we 3 are in for. |
