I should have introduced my self and my furbabies a little better than I did at first. My name is Rachel and I currently have my 11wk old lil boy Mr. Yoda the Great. My lil girl, Princess Laya, will be here May 15th, she is still with her mommy now.
Yoda, came from an unfortunate evil breeder and I decided it was my job to rescue him. In the past I had Maggie, which passed when my mother became terminally ill, and I had Snickers, who was stolen right out of my front yard right in front of me!
Yoda is the cutest lil boy I have ever seen he weighed a whopping 1lb 10 oz. I took him to the vet the very next day and he had ear mites and coccillitis, both treatable with medication. Day #3 turned into Nightmare#1. Yoda began vomitting, lethargic, and had to interest in food or water. I was up with Yoda all night long and as soon as our wonderful vet opened in the morning, we were there. Within 5 minutes, Dr. April, diagnosed Yoda with PARVO. She was very unsure as to whether Yoda would make it or not. Yoda has had his up's and down's since being there but Dr. April called me this afternoon and Yoda is coming home tomorrow! My family couldn't be happier! He is down to 1lb. 5 oz but he is on his way to full recovery!
Princess Laya, is almost 4 weeks old. She weighs a whopping 10oz. She will come home to us on May 15th!
These precious babies are pets and NEVER will a be part of a mill. These 2 are the only 2 that I own and the only 2 I will own as long as they are in our homes!
I have surfed around here a few times and found very interesting and helpful posts! You guys are great!
