I think it's up to each person...but I think most take into consideration their babies comfort....I always do...if it's too warm...they are naked..too cold they have sweaters, coats...whatever they need...But I do have the frilly stuff for special occasions too...
Daizy doesn't mind anything I put on her...she's a go with the flow kinda gal...But if I put something on Tulip that she hates...suddenly her legs don't work...and she becomes a statue until I remove it! Then I know I've gone overboard...lol So they help set the limits too!
