Maddie had exactly the same thing happen when she was about 6 months old
She was quite tiny so it was a real worry. She spent one night at the vet and
had Iv fluids and Flagyl. It took a few days and then she was OK. I Gave her 1%
cottage cheese when she was recovering. If your pup is actively having bloody stools might be best to stick to clear fluids until you can see the vet.
I think with Maddie it was some kind of Flu. Best of luck! Good to have nutrical on hand.
