I think it is probably the floppy ears that make them ask. They are just used to seeing yorkies with the perky ears standing erect. If you wanted them to stand you might still be able to by shaving the top triangle of each ear, and thinning some of the weight off the rest of the hair on the ear. That alone sometimes will let the ears come up. I have never had to tape them, but there are instructions on here in one of the stickies for that. If you just prefer the floppy ears, then that's okay too. But people will probably continue to ask. Sorry..... but I think Maddy is adorable! |
