I have a 17 m.o. Yorkie names Baron and a 7 1/2 y.o. PM rescued Papillion, named Sammy. In May my Hubs and I are going 3 states over to get 2- 1 1/2 y.o. female spayed Yorkies that were on here from a YT member for re-himing. We're very excited to be adding two sweet little girls to the "Grimm Gang". That'll make 4. I had 4 before @ the same time, 2 shelties and the 2 Chinese Shar-Pei that I used to show. These guys are 5 and 10 pounds each. I'm really looking forward to their arrival. It took Sammy about 2 weeks to really feel comfortable with Baron in the house and not try to eat him. Sammy doesn't play with toys, he only runs with Baron and they tossle and play bite and growl. That's why I wanted to get the girls, They're Barons age and will be real playmates for him. It's not Sammy's fault, he was a PM rescue and former breeder, about 1-2 y.o. when we got him. He watches Baron play with his toys but sits with me and watches and sometimes wags his tail, But, never joins in. I feel sorry for him because he just doesn't know how to be a dog and have fun. He guards the house-all 15 pounds of him and barks @ people that walk by or come to the door!! That's his job and it makes him happy. Give them a little time and they'll work it out between them, Just be patient...Congratulations on the new baby...
