You don't know how good you have it till you have to leave it. What a road trip with my family. We had 8 adults, my great niece , who turned one on our trip, 9 dogs, 11 cats and a 12 year old bird. Left on Thurs, morning and was on the road to Oklahoma for 38 hours. My three yorkies were little troopers the whole time. Stayed in Ok. for a week then headed home, Beaumont looked like a war zone, so we went to Galveston for a week. Maddie go sick from the stress, lost a pound and a half and half her hair, but is doing much better since we got home on Monday. Thank God for Hotel 6, they don't care how many pet you have. Got lights at my parents beach house, and went there. My four dogs were so glad to be able to run around in a yard. Could right a book with all that we have been through. We were Blessed, that we all had homes to come back too and that we are all ok. Missed yorkie talk a whole bunch. Got electricity back on Monday and my phone line hooked back today, so I am excited. Still no cable, but have yorkie talk

Hope all are well and that everyone in Rita's path did ok. Look forward to reading how everyone has been.
