I am like you I think it is harsh, but thats what my vet said to use til they 3 lbs. I like to take my babies in the front yard to play, but I can't cause of ticks and fleas. Did it once and they got ticks. I need something safe for my 1.4lb yorkie pup. She is 4mths. old. They want to go out so bad. I feel bad for them
