I guess you can start at any age as long as there's enough hair to put in a top knot. The earlier the better I think, so they'll get used to it. I couldn't wait to put stuff in Mimi's hair when she was a pup, so I used tiny snappy barrettes cuz her hair wasn't long enough. Puppies have a tendency to chew stuff & eat it, so make sure it's secure.
