I have allergies and this was one of the reasons why I decided to get yorkies. I am allergic to most environmental allergens, including dog hair/dander, dust, pollen, etc. and the dogs sleep with me in my bed. So, Cash gets a bath EVERY WEEK. We started when he was eight weeks old and little June has had her first bath with me this week. Thursdays we do all the washing, including the dogs.
Cash is a messy dude though, so sometimes (like the time he got hold of sweet-'n-sour pork sauce with rice - rookie mistake) he gets an emergency bath. Cash and June get a freshening up once a day with the brush, baby wipes and vaseline (for tear streaks and boogers).
