I spoke with a friend of mine who works in a shelter and she said that the people who work in shelters and animal control do know what they are doing and they would never put any dogs in a dangerous situation. I would like to think that people who in the animals rescues and shelters do have the sense and knowlege to know what is safe for each of the dogs.
That being said, I am almost an hour from there. I would be willing to help to get this poor little one a new home. Dealing with Hot Rod's recovery from surgery, it will take a little bit of handling but I am willing to help if someone is looking to adopt him. I could not keep him for very long as I have 4 more weeks of recovery time for him. |
