I am trying to figure out how much EVO Cocoa needs to eat. She weighs 2.4 lbs. but is supposed to weigh at least 3 lbs.

Weight of EVO: 13.2 oz.
Amount to feed: 3/4 or 1 1/4 of a can for a 15 lb. dog per day (I'm going with the larger amt. because Cocoa needs to gain weight.)
Cocoa's weight: 3 lbs. (going by that because that is where I want her to go)

13.2 oz. (weight of can) x 1.25 (amt. of can recommended) =16.5 oz. (weight of food for a 15 lb. dog.)

So if Cocoa weighs 3 lbs. that is 3/15 or 1/5 or 20% of the weight of a 15 lb. dog.

Then take 20% of 16.5 oz = 3.3 oz. of food per day.

Could someone please do the math and see if I am right? That seems like such a small amount. Thank you. ~Joanne~
