I had both my girls done at the same time..Sadies healed really quickly and with no problem...Lillie, the smaller of the two, licked hers alot and it looked like the picture you posted...except it wasn't the entire incision. I took a tube sock and cut the band, and the toe part off of it to fit on her body. I just slid it down so it covered the incision...this way she couldn't lick it...it worked great! healed in no time
