With all carpet and hardwood floors in our home, we bought a piece of remnant linoleum 50 x 50, put the wire pet plan pen on it and anchored it to the linoleum, and I've had success keeping her confined in the pet play pen in the house while I'm at work, with her crate in it and the pee pee pad in the frame inside the play pen crazyglued the frame of the pee pee pad holder to the linoleum so she doesn't tear it to shreds as even in the frame she'd flip the frame and rip the paper to shreds, I bought the spray(Pet Select Pee Pee Housbreaking Aid to spray the pads(without it she couldn't care less about the pads) and that did the trick, in 2 weeks she's trained and goes pee and poo on the pads consistently. At night I put her in her pet carrier, blocked off with boxes so she only had enough room to turn around, at first I didn't have the boxes in there and she'd pee and poo in there, but with the boxes in there and only enough room to lay down comfortably she now holds it from 11-11:30 pm till 6 am and then starts barking to let me know time to go and as soon as I put her in her play pen she does both, and on the papers too! When I'm home and watching her she has free roam of the house and will go into the play pen to pee and poo, so I think she's finally got it! 2 weeks is pretty good I think! Only weirdo thing she does is she stands on her hind legs to poo, but oh well at least she's going on the pads all the time now. Good luck and hope any of this helps you. Consistency in you schedule will get her on a schedule and make it easier for you both.

Patience.....
