I am so very sorry to hear of your family's loss. I am sure it has to be heartbreaking for all and especially your son who is struggling with blaming himself.
I recently lost a little Yorkie girl myself and know how hard it is. I came here too as I know everyone here understands the full impact of losing such a sweet and loving companion.
Just remember the love and joy you all gave each other while whe was with you. I know we never understand when a pet or person is taken from us all too soon. But someday we will be together and it will all be clear. I do believe that! I don't think I could go on if I did not have that thought to hold on to.
