She said if I want to let my Yorkie out into the wilderness to kill it's own prey, then great. The meat products that are prepared in slaughter houses have bacteria and that is why the meat packaged for human consumption is labelled with a sticker saying "cook to an internal temperature of blah blah blah". I asked if she'd ever seen cases of dogs getting sick from eating raw and she said yes. I was disappointed. I like the idea of raw.
