For the record, we went on and took Penny to the vet today. I just couldn't stand the thought of her getting worse on the weekend and them asking me why I didn't bring her in on Friday.
Anyway, the vet said she is doing fine, just as everyone said here
, and hopefully she will be able to live without the silly collar she has to wear in 3 - 4 days.
