The regular sticks range quite a bit in their thickness, as well as the braided ones. The braided sticks are three woven together and are about the size of three regular/smaller sized sticks. They are definately thicker than the regular sticks, since it's three braided into one.
I suppose some babies may prefer the braided ones over regular sticks, but the three-in-one provides a longer lasting chew.
