Science Diet is not THE greatest food -- but it's not the worst, either.
If you decide to switch foods, do it slowly and start with more of the SD with just
a bit of the new food mixed in and slowly add more and more.

Anyways, if she's a puppy (how old is she?) the bad breath is probably due to teething and losing baby teeth. A lot of Yorkies retain baby teeth and they must
be pulled when they go under anesthesia for their spay/neuter.

There is many different options to helping dogs bad breath... different chew toys and bones. Bully sticks help a lot and they're 100% digestible (just have to get past
the fact of what they are! lol) I've heard of CET chews but never used them. They also have Petzlife sprays & gels. It's recommended to brush Yorkies teeth daily or at least weekly. I, honestly, am guilty of never brushing my dogs teeth yet (he's 6mo old) but I plan to begin after he gets his baby teeth pulled out next week.
