My heart just melted when I read this story in the paper. I can't imagine treating such beautiful animals (or ANY animal) so poorly. I've been emailing back and forth with the Missouri Humane Society in the hopes to adopt one of the poor dogs they rescued from this puppymill (I live in Kansas City, Missouri). I get newsletters from the Mo Humane Society, and the info in today's newsletter said they should be ready to start adopting some of the dogs out the week of April 20th (that's Monday). They are going to have an adopt-a-thon featuring these dogs. You can read more about it here
