While the 'emergency' phase of a hypoglycemic episode is usually over once a pup receives some sugar and then some protein, the pup is still susceptible to having another episode for several days following. This may have been what the breeder was suggesting. It is advisable to keep a close watch on a pup following an episode for several days, making sure he/she eats properly and gets plenty of rest.
I do agree that a pup shouldn't be actually 'dizzy' for several days. That would be cause for concern that there was an underlying health issue.
